Quantitative analysis of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) protein by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) sandwich immunoassay in cultured cell lines as a basis for comparison with the mass spectrometry-based Selected Reaction Monitoring (SRM) analysis. (A) Serial dilutions of a recombinant EGFR standard analyzed in triplicate by ELISA to establish a quantitative curve for comparison with EGFR levels from cell lines. (B) Plot of these data on a linear regression curve (R2 = 0.9869) (C) ELISA immunoanalysis of EGFR from protein lysates from non-fixed cells derived from 4 cell lines.
