Proteomic analysis strategy for identifying proteins from TIF. High abundance proteins in TIF were removed using a MARS column. Remaining proteins were digested with trypsin to generate peptides. The peptides were subjected to three dimensions of fractionation using isoelectric focusing, strong cation exchange chromatography, and reversed-phase chromatography prior to tandem mass spectrometry analysis.
