Validation of LGALS3B protein expression changes in HCC tumour explants. Increased protein expression of LGALS3BP in HCC tumour explant samples from patients that developed recurrence post-LT (n = 7), compared to non-recurrent cases (n = 4), were orthogonally verified by immunohistochemistry in the discovery cohort (A).
